A King County jury awarded four UW marching band students injured in a bus crash $1.482 Million after an almost two-week trial. Attorney, Crystal R. Lloyd, was part of the legal team representing the students in the trial for personal injuries.
On Thanksgiving Day 2018, a bus carrying 56 marching band students lost control on icy roads and rolled onto its side in the ditch, injuring 47 of those on board. The bus was headed to Pullman, Washington where the students were set to perform at the Apple Cup.
